Summary:PURPOSE:To enable the efficient thawing of snow and ice on a heat exchanger by directly heating an operating fluid in the evaporation section of a heat conductor with a thermocouple, and quicky conducting the heating value thereof to the condensing section of the heat conductor. CONSTITUTION:A heat exchanger 3 receiving the deposit of snow and ice is provided. Then, a heat conductor 4 is provided, comprising an evaporation section 4a and a condensing section 4a extended from the evaporation section 4a to a thawing treatment section. The aforesaid condensing section 4b is so mounted to the heat exchanger 3 as to be in direct thermal contact therewith, and an operating fluid 5 is sealed in the evaporation section 4a. In addition, a thermocouple 6 is so fitted as to penetrate the evaporation section 4a of the heat conductor 4 for directly heating the operating fluid 5 therein. According to the aforesaid construction, heat can be efficiently conducted to the heat exchanger 3.
