Summary:PURPOSE:To obtain a simple and inexpensive structure by alternately operating an air suction means sucking the air in a refrigerating chamber until the atmospheric pressure state in the refrigerating chamber becomes a predetermined negative pressure state and an air introducing means gradually introducing the open air into the refrigerating chamber until the refrigerating chamber internally held to the predetermined negative pressure state becomes the atmospheric pressure state. CONSTITUTION:A vacuum pump 25 sucks the air in a pressure box 14 until the atmospheric pressure state in the pressure box 14 becomes a negative pressure state, for example, set to -150mmHg. When it is detected that the pressure in the pressure box 14 becomes the above mentioned value by a pressure sensor circuit 27, the vacuum pump 25 is stopped. In such a state that the vacuum pump 25 is stopped, the open air flows backward through the vacuum pump 25 by the pressure difference between the inside of the pressure box 14 and the outside of a refrigerator to be gradually introduced into the pressure box 14. The operating time of the vacuum pump 25 is extremely slight and a relatively small-size inexpensive vacuum pump can be adapted.
