Summary: | PURPOSE:To obviate the exertion of an adverse influence on photographed images by constituting the mat for X-ray diagnosis consisting of a foamed elastic plate covered with a waterproof sheet in such a manner that the plane of the waterproof sheet at the end of the mat does not intersect orthogonally with the living body imposing plane of the mat. CONSTITUTION:The mat 10 consists of the foamed elastic plate 12 of about 30mm thickness which consists of a urethane foam, etc., and is covered with the waterproof sheet 13 of about 0.3mm thickness, such as vinyl leather. The waterproof sheet 13 is superposed and joined at the side ends Da to Dc of the foamed elastic plate 12. The mat 10 is constituted of a head receiving part 10a, a breast receiving part 10b and a waist and leg receiving part 10c. Precision photographing is required for the head and breast of a person to be examined and, therefore, X-rays are detected in the position where an X-ray detecting section 22 is brought as near as possible to the head and breast to be photographed. The head receiving part 10a and breast receiving part 10b are, therefore, formed to the width similar to the figure of the person who is to be examined and has an ordinary figure. The photographing is otherwise executed in the direction orthogonal with the X-ray transmission direction E. |
