Summary:PURPOSE:To eliminate uncomfortable feeling due to cold air touching hands when air blowing is started by providing a lamp for generating radiation heat at a portion near to an air blow port and lighting the lamp with high output when the turning-on of power is started. CONSTITUTION:When the band of a man is inserted into a box light between optical sensors 4 and 5 is interrupted by the hand, so that an object detecting circuit 15 detects it and transmits a prescribed signal to a control circuit 11. The control circuit 11 responds thereto and commands a motor driving circuit 12 and a voltage control circuit 17 to start the operation of a fan 1 and the turning-on of a heat wire 6 and a halogen lamp 3. Accordingly, when the hand is inserted into the box, air is blasted from an air blow port by the fan 1 and the halogen lamp 3 lights. At the same time, the temperature of the heat wire 6 begins to rise. After that, the voltage control circuit 17 controls a lamp power source circuit 14 so as to gradually decrease a lamp output P thereafter by judging from the information signal of a temperature comparison circuit 16. Thus, a user has not uncomfortable feeling.
