Summary:PURPOSE:To obtain the electrophotographic sensitive body contg. polysilane with which the deterioration by ozone in prevented by incorporating an antioxidant into photosensitive paper. CONSTITUTION:This photosensitive body is constituted by laminating a charge generating layer 3 and a polysilane layer 1. The charge generating layer 2 is formed by vapor deposition of a charge generating material 3 or by dispersing the charge generating material 3 into a binder resin 4 and applying the dispersion on a base. The polysilane layer 1 is formed by incorporating the antioxidant into a liquid of a polysilane compd. dissolved in an org. solvent, applying this liquid mixture on the charge generating layer and drying and solidifying the coating. The electrophotographic sensitive body which obviates the increase in bright part potential and the increase in residual potential by the ozone generated at the time of repetitive charging and exposing is obtd. by incorporating the antioxidant into the polysilane layer 1 in such a manner.
