Summary:PURPOSE:To easily change a 2nd image forming action mode again even after finishing setting a mode by providing a means for shifting the set 2nd image forming mode to a changeable state. CONSTITUTION:By depressing a reservation key 602 in a copying start waiting state or in the middle of copying action, a reserved mode different from a 1st copying mode already set is set. At such a time, the 1st copying mode already set is stored in a RAM. When the reserved mode is set, the 2nd copying mode can be set by depressing the copying mode setting key of a control panel 500 whether the copying action is executed or not. By depressing a reservation setting key 603 after inputting and operating data on the 2nd copying mode, the setting of the 2nd copying mode is completed and the 2nd set copying mode is stored in the RAM. In the case of changing the mode, it is unnecessary to set the reservation again from the beginning and the image forming mode which is set to be reserved is easily changed.
