Summary:PURPOSE:To obtain an activating agent composition consisting of a nitrogen- containing activating agent and phosphorous acid ester of hindered phenol, having good heat resistance and effective as modifier of thermoplastic resin and color preventing agent of film production. CONSTITUTION:The aimed composition consisting of (A) a nitrogen containing activating agent of a compound (metal salt) expressed by formula I to formula III [R1 is >=6C hydrocarbon; A1 is -CH2-, -CO- or -O(CH2)3-; R2 and R3 are >=1C hydrocarbon, hydroalkyl, acyloxyalkyl or polyoxyalkylene; R4 is >=1C hydrocarbon] and (B) a phosphorous acid ester of hindered phenols such as a compound expressed by formula IV[R is alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkoxyalkyl, aralkyl or aryl which may be each replaced by halogen or X; n is 1-4; X is hindered phenol], preferably having tert. butyl group at ortho position.
