Summary:PURPOSE:To shorten the time needed for display of the next screen by storing previously the screen data equivalent to nine screens contiguous to each other into a storage means after transferring them to a display device from a computer and then taking out the requested screen data out of the storage means and displaying them when a request is given to the contiguous screens. CONSTITUTION:When a display reference start request is inputted via an input means 24, a transfer request means 23 gives a request to a central computer 1 to transfer the screen data equivalent to nine screens contiguous to each other. Thus the computer 1 transfers the requested screen data to the display devices 2-1 - 2-N. A control means 25 receives the screen data from the computer 1 and stores them into a storage means 21. At the same time, the means 25 takes the center screen data out of the means 21 and displays it via a visible display means 26.
