Summary:PURPOSE:To respond with an operating system without changing an application program and with no problem by connecting virtual data structure body set so as to respond to the access of a host program. CONSTITUTION:When an operating system program 3 makes access a new data structure body 1 by a request from the host program 4, or returns the address while the host program 4 to responding to the new data structure body 1 is executed, conversion work is performed by using the virtual data structure body 2 at the intermediate point of delivery of the address. Thereby, the host program 4 not conforming to the new data structure body 1 can be operated normally so as to be operated for a previous data structure body without changing the program itself.
