Summary:PURPOSE:To simplify the operation at the time of purchasing a commodity and to improve the user service by constituting the automatic vending machine so that a sales control means executes a sales operation of a purchase desired commodity in connection with a fact that information of the purchase desired commodity is read. CONSTITUTION:Whether a magnetic card 8 is inserted into a card insertion port or not is judged, and when the card is inserted, card information is read by a card R/W device 9, whether there is information of a purchase desired commodity or not is judged, and when there is the information, the information of the purchase desired commodity and the amount of money of the card are read out. By subtracting the total amount from the amount of the card, the balance of the card is calculated and written in the card and the card is returned. When the amount read out of the card exceeds, a commodity price, a saleable pilot lamp is turned on, and when a commodity selection button 2 is pushed, the commodity selection button 2 is pushed, the commodity is carried by a commodity carrying device 12.
