CONSTITUTION:In order to seal a processing soln. in the direction of transfer of a photosensitive material with a pair of upper and lower rolls 7, 8, blades 4, 5 are pressed against liq. seals 11 in the axial direction of the rolls 7, 8 and the peripheries of the rolls 7, 8. One side divided by the blades 4, 5, the seals 11 and the rolls 7, 8 forms a processing soln. vessel and liq. sealing pressure is applied to the seals 11. Liq. seals 11 in the circumferential direction of the rolls 7, 8 prevent the movement of the soln. through the rolls 7, 8 in combination with the blades 4, 5. The deterioration of the processing soln. due to air oxidation can be prevented and stable development can be carried out.
