Summary:PURPOSE:To eliminate a lift operation and to improve operation efficiency by detecting the inclination of an outer frame supported at one point so that it freely inclines by means of pressure in an oblique direction in switches and outputting a signal. CONSTITUTION:When the downward projection 20 of a frame 11 is brought into point-contact with a lower frame 12 and force is not added from an external part, the frame is supported at four points by springs 18 and screws 19. When force in the oblique direction is added, the outer frame inclines and the inclination detection switches 21-24 are brought into contact. Electric signals of X and Y axes obtained by the contact point are outputted from a mouse mainbody as XM and YM and are inputted to a computer. When signals with the inclination of the X and Y axes are inputted by software in the computer, the number of pulses which are generated in rotary encoders 14 and 15 by the rolling of a ball 13 and which are inputted to the computer is multiplied by the coefficient of several times and the moving amount of several times can be obtained.
