Summary:PURPOSE:To stably control a driving system holding heavy inertial mass by increasing the speed feedback amplification degree of a servo system when detecting arrival at a targeted point. CONSTITUTION:When return to an origin is performed, the output of a speed setter 9 is added on a servo amplifier 7 first, and a servo motor 1 is controlled at constant speed. The position of a tool 5 is detected with a pulse type detector 6, and the output pulse of the detector is frequency-divided at a frequency divider 15a, and is added on the servo amplifier 7 as a speed feedback signal. When the arrival at the origin is detected, switches 14, 16 are switched with the output from a Z-phase detector, and the pulse of the detector 6 not passing the frequency divider 15a is added as the speed feedback signal to the servo amplifier 7. simultaneously, the pulse of the detector 6 is inputted to an error counter 11, and an error from an original position is calculated, and the output to the servo amplifier 7 is issued to set the error at zero.
