Summary:PURPOSE:To reduce parts in number as well as to eliminate a need for a seal structure, and thereby facilitate assembling work by connecting the intake and discharge ports of each compression mechanism with an integrally cast type manifold equipped with an intake side and an exhaust side passage. CONSTITUTION:An integrally cast type manifold 101 is mounted on the upper sides of the valve plates 41 and 41 of a right and a left compression mechanism. The manifold 101 is formed with cap sections 103 and 103 on the right and the left, and each cap section 103 is formed with each partitioning wall 105 so that each upper surface of the valve plate 41 is partitioned into an intake and an exhaust space 107 and 109. Paired caps 103 and 103 are formed with an intake side and an exhaust side passage 111 and 113 respectively. A right and a left inlet space 107 and 107 are mutually connected by the inlet side passage 111, and a right and a left discharge space 109 and 109 are also mutually connected by the exhaust side passage 113.
