Summary: | PURPOSE:To simplify the work of laying piping and improve the appearance of the work completed by connecting an outdoor machine to a distribution unit by a two-way piping line for sending refrigerant back and forth and by connecting the distribution unit to each of indoor machines respectively by a two-way piping line. CONSTITUTION:A multiair-conditioning apparatus is equipped with an outdoor machine 100 installed outdoors, a suspended type indoor machine 17 fitted to the ceiling inside a room A, a wall type indoor machine 18 fitted to the wall inside a room B, another wall type indoor machine 19 provided inside a room C, and a distribution unit 20 provided inside the room A. The outdoor machine 100 is connected to the distribution unit 20 by a pair of pipes 55, 56 for conveying refrigerant back and forth, and the distribution unit 20 is connected to each of the indoor machines 17, 18, 19 by a pair of pipes 61, 62, by another pair 63, 64, and by another pair 65, 66 respectively. The distribution unit 20 contains, for the respective indoor machines 17, 18, 19, expansion valves 5, 6, 7 and solenoid valves 27, 28, 29, which all are capable of opening and closing by electronic control. |
