Summary:PURPOSE:To decrease the hardware quantity and to simply obtain a base No as the interruption information by providing a 1st means to a pipeline to hold the base Nos of instructions which are successively executed. CONSTITUTION:When an access exception or the program event record PER for change of a main storage are produced, an interruption is detected at an arithmetic/storage stage 4 with an instruction D. In this case, the base Nos corresponding to the operand data are stored in a work register 12b and a register 15 respectively. When an interruption is detected, the subsequent instruction processing is interrupted. At the same time, the base Nos stored in the register 15 are kept as they are via a signal line 1f. An instruction control part proceeds to the interruption processing from the instruction processing and stores the interruption information. In this case, the base No held by the register 15 is used for execution of the interruption processing. Thus it is possible to decrease the quantity of hardware forming a pipeline and to simply obtain the base No as the interruption information.
