Summary:PURPOSE:To reproduce a pattern of a printing area of an intaglio plate with fidelity to perform a high-accuracy printing by a method wherein a thermally curing ink is loaded on recessed parts of the intaglio plate and heated from the inner wall side of the recessed parts, and the ink is brought into contact with a printing medium and transferred thereto by pressurizing the surface of the intaglio plate on which a printing area is not formed. CONSTITUTION:A flat-form intaglio plate 8 is mounted on a holding frame 14 with a suitable tension. The holding frame 14 can move rightward and leftward with the plate mounted thereon. After an inking roller 9 supplies an ink to a printing area of the intaglio plate 8, the holding frame 14 moves rightward together with the intaglio plate 8 onto a glass substrate 6 as a printing medium loaded on a printing mount 15. A heating roller 16 simultaneously applies pressure and heat all over the top surface of the intaglio plate. After printing is completed, the intaglio plate moves, and the intaglio plate which has been increased in temp. is cooled by coming into contact with a cooling roller 13.
