PURPOSE:To prevent the damage of a receiving trough caused by the striking of the inner surface of a sorting cylinder against the receiving trough in the sorting cylinder by supporting the front end of the sorting cylinder by a pair of guide levers at the time of the detachment of the sorting cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A sorting cylinder 5 long in its front and rear direction having a large number of pot holes 4 provided to the inner surface thereof, the sorting case 20 provided behind a dehulling apparatus 2 so as to cover the sorting cylinder 5, the receiving trough 26 extending into the sorting cylinder 5 from the front plate 8 on the side near to the dehulling apparatus 2 of the sorting case, four drive rollers 7 supporting both front and rear ends of the cylinder 5 from below and two parallel guide levers 10 provided inside the left and right drive rollers 7 are mounted. The cylinder 5 is provided in a freely detachable manner so that it can be pulled out from the position of the rear plate 11 on the side remote from the dehulling apparatus 2 of the sorting case when the rear plate 11 is removed. Further, the guide levers 10, 10 are provided in the direction of the rotary shaft of the cylinder 5 so that the cylinder 5 detached at its front end to be forwardly inclined is supported from below.
