Summary: | PURPOSE:To detect a position with a precision higher than the resolution of a linear scale by estimating the speed by an observer and integrating the estimated speed to obtain an estimated position. CONSTITUTION:The observer including the speed of a servo motor is constituted to estimate the speed. This estimated speed is integrated to detect the estimated position. The speed is estimated in each prescribed period by the observer, and this estimated speed is integrated, that is, the estimated speed is multiplied by a prescribed period to estimate the moving position in this period. Consequently, the position between minimum units detected by a position detector is estimated. Thus, the position is detected with a resolution higher than the resolution of the position detector. |
