Summary: | PURPOSE:To improve photosensitivity by incorporating a binder resin, a photoconductive material and yellow, magenta and cyan quinone dyes having no functional groups into the toner. CONSTITUTION:This toner contains the binder, the photoconductive material and the mixed dyes of three colors and is prepd. by dispersing or compatibilizing these materials into a solvent, etc. and pulverizing the dispersion or soln. by a grinding method, etc. The binder resin is exemplified by polymers, such as, for example, styrene polymers, etc. Zinc oxide is preferably used as the photoconductive material in terms of a high memory characteristic and photosensitivity. The sensitizing dyes are added together with the photoconductive material to the toner to impart the toner with the sensitivity to near IR to IR regions. The toner which is good in both of the electrostatic chargeability and photoconductivity and has the excellent photosensitivity to the wavelength of the laser wavelength region is obtd. in this way. |
