PURPOSE:To enable even such a person who has no technical knowledge of the house design to easily produce a design drawing by storing the arrangement information on each rectangular pattern into an arrangement information storage device and deciding the position of the rectangular pattern based on the stored arrangement information. CONSTITUTION:A rectangular pattern storage part 1 stores various design patterns, and the arrangement position is set on a rectangular pattern arrangement table 2 for those rectangular patterns. Then the information is stored in an attachment position information table 3 to convert the attachment position shown in a symbol code into an actual attachment position. A control part 5 reads out the arrangement position of rectangular patterns as a symbol code to each rectangular pattern shown in a parts code prescribed via the table 2. Then the part 5 converts the attachment position shown in a symbol code into the actual position by reference to the table 3. Thus even a person who has no technical knowledge of the house design can decide a proper arrangement of rectangular patterns.
