Summary:PURPOSE:To permit an adhesive agent to be applied to a work with an adhesive application needle kept out of contact therewith by providing the adhesive application needle, an adhesive receptacle and a liq. surface control member. CONSTITUTION:Immediately after adhesive agent in an adhesive tank 21 is scraped off therefrom by a scraping member 23, a needle 10 is positioned above an opening 25a of a lid 25 on an adhesive receptacle 20 and lowered to immerse its adhesive retaining part 11 into a groove 22. The adhesive agent is held between prongs 10a and 10b composing the adhesive retaining part 11. When the needle 10 is raised from the adhesive receptacle 20, the adhesive agent held between the prongs 10a and 10b becomes spherical by the action of its surface tension. The needle 10 is moved toward a work 3 so as to apply the adhesive agent thereto by the prong 10a. This permits the coating to be implemented in a constant amt.
