Summary:PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of wrinkles in the aluminum foil at the time of recoiling by specifying the annealing conditions in coiled Al foil and suppressing the difference in the upper and lower length of the diameter in the radial direction of the Al foil into specified value or below. CONSTITUTION:Coiled Al foil is annealed, is discharged from a furnace, is thereafter reversed and is cooled. Furthermore, in the stage of annealing, the porosity in the coil is regulated to about 10 to 17%. The coiled Al foil is moreover subjected to two stage annealing treatment in the air at about 290 to 330 deg.C for about 20 to 30hr and successively at 240 to 280 deg.C for about 10 to 30hr. In this way, the difference in the length of the diameter in the radial direction of the coiled Al foil is suppressed to <=1%. In the annealing stage, rolling oil is completely removed away, by which the wrinkles caused by annealing sags can be reduced.
