Summary:PURPOSE:To prevent reduction in power transmission efficiency in case of working fluid becoming high temperature by exhausing the working fluid from a suction-side low pressure circuit to the side of a working fluid tank by the opening of a check valve provided between the discharge-side high pressure circuit of a hydraulic pump and the suction-side low-pressure circuit. CONSTITUTION:In case that overload conditions occurs a right or left check valve 4 is opened by abnormally high pressure oil, which pushes a high pressure relief valve 8 open from the main closed circuit 1 on the high pressure side and is discharged in the direction of a charge oil passage 5. Hereby, the pressure oil flowing in from a working fluid releasing oil passage 10, a working fluid releasing valve 7 is also opened. And the pressure oil on high pressure side, which has become high temperature, is released to a working fluid tank T from the working fluid releasing valve 7 and is cooled by letting it pass an oil cooler, so the drop of the power transmission efficiency of a HST type transmission does not occur.
