PURPOSE:To efficiently and exactly execute piercing in both ends of a work, etc., by providing a first and a second stopper members having an operating control on one side of a guide rail, providing each slide-in guide face on both said members and positioning an inserted work. CONSTITUTION:For instance, in the case of performing the piercing to both end parts of a work W of a long size sheet of a hoop material, etc., on end part Wa of the work W is inserted into a guide passage 5. The work W is guided by a slide-in guide face 11c of a first stopper member 11 and inserted until it is detained by a stopper part 12b of a second stopper member 12 and positioning is executed. Piercing is performed thereto by a die 3 and a punch 8. Subsequently, by drawing a control 12a of a second stopper 12 to the outside against a spring 13, the detection of the stopper part 12b is released, the work W is allowed to pass through the passage 5 and transferred, and thereafter, by detaining the other end part Wb by a stopper part 11b, positioning is executed and working of the remaining one end part is completed. In such a way, the handling time and labor are saved without inverting the work W by 180 deg., and working can be performed surely.
