Summary:PURPOSE:To ensure pleasant key input operation by inhibiting the generation of the key input unable warning tone when the key input is carried out for a specific action of a cursor, etc. CONSTITUTION:A key switch 1 is provided together with a key input detection part 2 which detects the push of the switch 1, and a key input buffer 6 which stores temporarily the inputted key until it is processed by a key processing part 7. Furthermore a key deciding part 4 is added to decide the key input which performs a specific action of a cursor key, etc., when the key input is stored in the buffer 6. In such constitution, a key input part decides the inputted keys and inhibits the generation of an input usable warning tone even in an input unable state as long as such a key that performs a specific action of a cursor key, etc., is inputted. Thus no input unable warning tone is produced when a key that performs a specific action of the cursor key, etc., is inputted in an input unable state.
