Summary:PURPOSE:To obtain both the merits of the real time property of on-line retrieval and the easiness of substitutive retrieval by displaying retrieval input information and retrieved result information displayed on the display screen of a retrieving terminal also on the display screen of a retrieval monitoring terminal. CONSTITUTION:The retrieval communication terminal system is constituted of a retrieval monitor terminal part 11 for a retrieval substitutor, a retrieval terminal part 12 for an information retrieving person, speaking function parts 13 such as telephone sets installed on both the terminal parts 11, 12, a communication network 14 including an ISDN net or an exclusive net, and a data base part 15 in which information is stored. The terminal part 12 is connected to the terminal part 11 through an on-line, the same picture information is displayed on the terminal part 12 and the terminal part 11 and the terminal part 11 controls the terminal part 12 so that the operator of the terminal part 12 does not execute a useless operation error. Thus, both the merits of the real time property of the on-line retrieval and the easiness of substitutive retrieval can be obtained.
