Summary: | PURPOSE: To fix a surgical staple by comprising a flame and a tubular part extending in a longitudinal direction of the flame, wherein the tubular part is equipped with a housing for supporting a cartridge assembly, an anvil part and it transferring means, as well as a means for releasing a surgical fastener from the cartridge. CONSTITUTION: An instrument consists of a flame 102 and a tubular endoscopic part 300, which is detachable and extends from the flame in a distal direction. The endoscopic part is inserted via an incised part or an endoscopic tube into a body. An anvil part 136 of a cartridge assembly is let at an open position to arrange a body tissue between the anvil part and an engaging surface with the tissue. The, the anvil is closed to clamp the body tissue between the anvil part and the cartridge. Then, the instrument is operated to insert a staple released from the cartridge into the body tissue and touch the staple with the anvil, by which the anvil, by which the anvil is closed, closes the anvil. In an appropriate case, an incised part may be made between staple rows by a knife. Thereafter, the clamping operation of the anvil and the cartridge assembly is stopped and the endoscopic part is removed. Thereby, a fixing of an inner staple and an incision operation can be carried out without approaching to a staple fixing position completely. |
