PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition improved in both workability and suitability for use with a wet ink by mixing a polyester formed from a specified polybasic acid component and a specified polyol component with an amino resin. CONSTITUTION:A coating material composition containing a polyester and an amino resin. The polyester is formed from a polybasic acid component (A) containing 0-80mol% of at least one compound (a) selected from an alicyclic dibasic acid of formula I (wherein R is H or methyl) and its anhydride and a polyol component (B) containing 0-80mol% of at least one compound (b) selected from a diol of formula II wherein R , R , and R are each H or 1-4C alkyl and the total number of carbon atoms of R , R , and R is at least 3 and cyclohexanedimethanol, with the total weight of at least one compound (a) and at least one compound (b) being 20-80wt.% based on the solid of the polyester resin to be obtained, and has a number-average molecular weight of 3,000 to 30,000.
