Summary:PURPOSE:To use a flush toilet without troubles even on blackout or out of order, by opening and closing a flap valve by operation of a manual emergency exhaust valve in addition to an external pressure by use of an air-cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A flap valve 6 is arranged to open and close a discharge outlet 5 provided at the bottom of a toilet bowl 3 to automatically actuate it with the compressed air of an air-cylinder 16. This flap valve 6 is manually actuated as well due to an emergency exhaust valve. When blackout or some troubles happen, the air within the air-cylinder 16 is discharged from the opened exhaust emergency valve and the flap valve 6 is opened by the actuation of the cylinder by dint of a spring 12 for the flap valve. In this condition, excrements are discharged by feeding water to the bowl. In this way, even on blackout, the flap can be manually operated without troubles and hence, the flush toilet can be used.
