Summary:PURPOSE:To offer the service with excellent line efficiency by storing tentatively cell information of an external special class call when the storage quantity of a cell buffer designated by cell information of the special class call sent from a terminal equipment is a prescribed value or over and outputting the information to a cell buffer circuit when the stored information is decreased to a prescribed value or below. CONSTITUTION:Special class cell information received when a cell transmission wait storage quantity of a general cell stored in a cell buffer circuit 22-1 corresponding to an outgoing line 51-1 is a specified value or over is stored once in a special class cell buffer circuit 23 and then stored in a temporary storage circuit 24-1. A special cell retransmission control circuit 24-2 monitors a cell buffer circuit 22-1 corresponding to each outgoing line and when the storage residual quantity of the cell information reaches the specified value or less, the information is immediately sent to the cell buffer circuit 22-1 via a special class incoming line 42 and a switch 21 from a special class cell transmission buffer circuit 25.
