Summary:PURPOSE:To suppress abrasion and the generation of play by covering the whole peripheral surface of a ball bearing with the extended part of a retainer, as well as forming a gap between the peripheral surface of the extended part and the wall surface of a throttle chamber body. CONSTITUTION:A through hole 14 pierced with the axis 13 of a throttle valve 12 is formed at a throttle chamber body 11. A bearing enclosing part 15 is also formed in the state of enveloping the through bole 14, and ball bearings 16 for supporting the axis 13 and retainers 17 for fixing the ball bearings 16 at the throttle chamber body 11 are respectively enclosed in the bearing enclosing part 15. In this case, the retainer 17 is provided with an extended part 17 covering the whole peripheral surface of the ball bearing 16, and a tip part 17B fixed at the ball bearing 16 by caulking. In addition, a gap 18 is secured between the peripheral surface of the extended part 17A and the wall surface of the throttle chamber body 11 at the time of pressing the retainer 17 into the bearing enclosing part 15.
