Summary:PURPOSE:To display only sent still picture information by writing prescribed still picture information to a frame memory via a still picture information switching circuit from a dummy still picture information transmission circuit when deficiency is detected by the still picture information detection circuit. CONSTITUTION:The quantity of information of still picture information sent by a still picture information detection circuit 2 is counted to detect whether the quantity is deficient or in excess and the result is fed to a dummy still picture information transmission circuit 3. In the case of deficiency, prescribed dummy still picture information is written in frame memories 30, 40 via a still picture information switching circuit 4 from the dummy still picture information transmission circuit 3 supplying the prescribed information to the frame memories 30, 40 to rewrite the still picture information before the reception. Thus, only the sent still picture information is displayed.
