Summary: | PURPOSE:To permit the uniform melting-in of the fusible metal by forming an auxiliary attached metal for forming a welded groove onto the inclined edge surface of an inclined diaphragm installed in a box structure member and applying the electroslag welding into the welded groove. CONSTITUTION:The edge surface of the inclined welded side 12 of a diaphragm 11 is formed into an inclined edge surface 13 in parallel to the inner surface of an outer peripheral wall 16. A pair of auxiliary patched metals 14 and 15 for forming the welded groove are installed onto the both surfaces of the inclined welded sides 12. Then, the welded inner surfaces 18 and 19 for the inclined edge surface 13 and the outer peripheral wall 16 are installsd onto the inside surfaces of the auxiliary patched metals 14 and 15. Then, a welded groove 17 having a rectangular form having the equal diagonal lines A and B is formed. An electroslag welding nozzle 20 is inserted into the welded groove 17, and the diaphragm 11 and the outer peripheral wall 16 are welded by the fusible metal 21. Therefore, the fusible metal can be surely molten for four corners. |
