Summary:PURPOSE:To exactly inform the mode state of a driving system to a host control means by means of a simple constitution by providing the title system with a means for forming a code indicating the mode state of the driving system and transferring the formed code to the host control means. CONSTITUTION:A servo processor 2 forms a code indicating the current mode state of the CD mechanism driving system 3 and outputs the formed code to a microcomputer 1. Thus, the mode state of the driving system 3 can be exactly informed to the microcomputer 1 by means of the simple constitution. Since an effective command is previously set up in each mode state, the system can be prevented from generating malfunction. Thereby, the reliability of system control can be sharply improved.
