Summary:PURPOSE:To reduce the number of component controls, to facilitate a function alteration and to prevent a setting alteration by means of a third party by writing data to a memory part when a code included in a setting signal corresponds to a code set beforehand. CONSTITUTION:When a power source is inputted, the data of a memory part 13 are read, and the function of terminal equipment 10 is set. A normal operation is executed according to the set function, and the reception of a wireless signal is detected during the operation. When the receiving mode is the setting mode, the code included in the setting signal is read, the correspondence to the set code in the memory part 13 is checked, when it corresponds, the writing to the memory part 13 is executed, then the data are read, and returned to a remote controller 20 as the wireless signal. In the controller 20, the data are displayed and a user can confirm them.
