Summary: | PURPOSE:To accurately detect a fish eye included in a film by performing image pickup with a one-dimensional CCD in a range obtained by being moved in parallel from an illuminating position to the film by a line-shaped transmitting illumination. CONSTITUTION:The film 3 is illuminated with the transmitted light from a line-shaped light source 5, which is near the collimated beam of light, and the one-dimensional CCD 1 is set to perform image pickup in the range 4 obtained by being moved in parallel from the illuminating position to the film 3 so that the transmitted light can not be received. Therefore, the output from the CCD 1 in the normal part of the film 3 and the part where dust exists thereof becomes low and the output from the CCD 1 in the part where the fish eye 6 exists becomes high because the light is scattered. Thus, the dust stuck to the film 3 is not detected but only optical distortion where gel, etc., is taken as a core can be detected with a simple constitution. |
