Summary:PURPOSE:To make the whole form narrower as well as to reduce a floor space by setting up an output shaft of a motor and a rotor shaft of each pump on a straight line, and connecting these shafts to each other, in a device which drives a vane type vacuum pump and a vane type compression pump with a single motor. CONSTITUTION:This combination pumping plant 10 sets up a vane type vacuum pump 12 and a vane type compression pump 13 on the top of a frame 11, thereby driving both these pumps 12, 13 with a single motor 14, and it secures negative pressure by the vacuum pump 12 and positive pressure by the compression pump 13. Here a rotor shaft 12A of the vacuum pump 12 and a rotor shaft 13A of the compression pump 13 are solidly formed on a straight line by a common rotor shaft 15, while a rotor 12C being locked to the rotor shaft 12A and a rotor 13C being locked to the rotor shaft 13A both are built in a common cylinder 16. In addition, an output shaft 14A of the motor 14 and the common shaft 15 for both these pumps 12, 13 are connected to each other by a coupling 25.
