Summary:PURPOSE:To obtain a ceramic article removed in breakable corner part and free from corner part by calcining moldings obtained by subjecting a ceramic powder and binder to press molding and then tambling the calcined moldings. CONSTITUTION:A kneaded material of ceramic powder and binder is molded into a prescribed shape. The resultant moldings is dried and then calcined to subject the moldings to semi-hardening. Then the semi-hardened moldings are together abraded in a harrel to tumble and remove the corner part produced in the above-mentioned molding. Then the moldings removed in the corner part is sintered at a temperature higher than calcination temperature.
