Summary:PURPOSE:To support the gravity center of a moving part with an elastic supporting member and to improve the reliability of an objective lens driving device by providing a clearance to fix and support an elastic supporting member to a bobbin at the side surface of a focus coil. CONSTITUTION:At the time of thinning an objective lens driving device, a focus coil 16 and a tracking coil 17 are provided at the outer circumference of a bobbin 15 to support an objective lens 14 and a clearance to fix and support an elastic supporting 23 to the bobbin 15 is provided at the side surface of the focus coil 16. Consequently, the supporting can be executed by the gravity center of a moving part and the contacting area and the pressurizing force of a shaft 18 and a bearing 19 can be kept approximately constant and the proceeding of the wear of the bearing 19 is delayed. Thus, the reliability can be improved.
