PURPOSE:To enable the control not influenced by a response delay by providing a mathematical model simulating dynamic characteristic of a main circuit within a control circuit and by controlling an inverter for the purpose of obtaining a manipulated variable controlling said mathematical modem without delay. CONSTITUTION:DC power 1 is converted into AC by an inverter 2 and outputted via an output filter 3. An inverter 2 is controlled via a gate logic 4 by a pulse- width control circuit 5. A processor circuit 6 computing a pulse-width command signal D according to the magnitude of an AC voltage command Vr is composed of a mathematical model 8 simulating dynamic characteristics of a part to be controlled and a control function 7 computing a manipulated variable necessary for making the output of said mathematical model coincide with an AC output voltage command Vr. Then, said pulse-width control circuit 5 is controlled by the manipulated variable D thus computed.
