Summary:PURPOSE:To easily provide a zoom function by providing a divider for an address, an adder and a selector. CONSTITUTION:A divider 2 dividing an address of a frame memory 5, an adder 4 and a selector 3 switching the address are provided to attain zoom display. Since the address selector 3 switches the address for a normal readout and the address for zoom display being one over an integral number such as 1/2, the zoom display is attained. Thus, the frame memory readout circuit of a scanning converter capable of magnifying and displaying part of the pattern is obtained.
