Summary: | PURPOSE:To obtain the photoconductive material having sufficient sensitivity and the potential stability at the time of repetitive use by forming an azo pigment of a specific compd. CONSTITUTION:The azo pigment expressed by the formula I is incorporated into the photosensitive layer of a conductive base. In the formula I, W denotes a single bond or bivalent arom. hydrocarbon which may have a substituent or heterocyclic group; Ar1, Ar2 respectively denote a bivalent cyclic ketone or cyclic quinone which may have a substituent. CP1, CP2 respectively denote a residual coupler group having a phenolic hydroxyl group; Z denotes an oxygen atom or sulfur atom; m, n respectively denote 0 or 1. The photosensitive body having the good sensitivity and potential stability at the time of repetitive use is obtd. in this way. |
