Summary:PURPOSE:To effectively store a sheet storing device by providing a supply device for supplying the sheet to the sheet storing device while at approaches to the sheet storing device and providing an opening and closing device for opening and closing the approach port of the supply device interlockingly with the advancing and retracting operations of the supply device in the sheet storing device. CONSTITUTION:A shutter 263 is provided at the approach port of a precision supply safe 15. When a supply device 286 is lowered to an approach port, the shutter 263 is opened by an opening and closing device 284. While the supply device 286 is approached to the approach port, a note is supplied to a money receiving part 16B. Thus, a gap is not disposed between the supply device and the money receiving part 16B to effectively deliver the note. Since a sweeper 181 is used in the supply device, the note is pushed out by the elastic piece of the sweeper 181, further to a gate plate side to maintain a storing space for a next note and align the notes.
