Summary: | PURPOSE:To obtain a medical illuminating apparatus creating no shadows to by assembling two sets of illuminating units each consisting of a lens assembling body the focus of which lens can be adjusted, the optical fiber to be connected to its light source, and an angle adjusting portion in the manner that the shadows to be created by the two units are mutually cancelled. CONSTITUTION:Each of headlights 2 is threaded 16 at its inside to allow movement of a wound body 18 therethrough, by which movement the focus of light can be adjusted, and also a lens 17 for converging light emitted by the headlights 2 is provided at the front end of the wound body 18 and a metal pipe 15 having a threaded portion is threadedly attached to the rear end. At least two sets of the headlights 2 are installed along the lens assembling body 4 of a video camera 1 and in symmetrical relationship to each other with respect to the optical axis of the video camera 1, and an optical fiber 8 extending out of each of the headlight 2 is mounted to a supporting portion via the guide 9 of a metallic pipe by means of a guide supporting metal fitting 10. Also, in the case of adjusting the focuses and diaphragms of the video camera 1 each of the head lights 2 may not be positioned in front of nor behind the lens assembling body 4. Shadows may not be, as a result, generated witihin the affected part of a patient's body which part is narrow and deep, so that the affected part can be clearly illuminated. |
