PURPOSE:To make delicate and irregular patterning feasible by a method wherein foaming ink for printing pictures is melted to reduce the volume thereof. CONSTITUTION:A transfer sheet base 1 is firstly printed using foaming ink 3 and then pictures are drawn using foaming paste 2. When the pictures on the transfer sheet 1 are transferred to the surface of a forming resin composition 7 provided on a substrate 6, the pictures drawn by the ink 3 are successively transferred to the pictures drawn by the foaming paste 2 on the surface. After drawing the pictures in this way, firstly only the foaming ink 3 foams and then it is heated for foaming after providing a surface protecting resin layer 8 to produce a foamed decorative board 9 made of th foaming paste 2 and the foaming resin layer 8 due to foaming the both materials. At this time, a recess 10 is foamed on the surface protecting layer 8 because the foamed foaming ink 3 is melted by the heat generated by foaming the paste 2 etc. to reduce the volume thereof. The depth of this recess 10 may be freely changed by the coating amount of the foaming ink 3 in case of printing.
