Summary:PURPOSE:To cause a circuit scale to be small and to facilitate the adjustment of a control system by digitizing a signal processing system, measuring the characteristic fluctuation of the control system and setting an arithmetic procedure and an arithmetic parameter. CONSTITUTION:The signal processing system is digitized, the characteristic fluctuation due to the sensitivity fluctuation of a detection system, the characteristic fluctuation of an actuator, etc., is measured under the management of a CPU, the processing procedure and set value of the signal processing system are obtained so as to be made into an optimum control characteristic, and they are set to the signal processing system. For example, outputs from two detectors to exist in a defocus detection optical system 16 are inputted to a defocus detecting amplifier 18 and obtained as signals AE and AT. The AE signal is inputted to a level shift circuit 49, the AT signal is inputted through a level shift circuit 48 and a filter 51 to a selector 39, the actuator is driven, and a light spot is controlled. Thus, the circuit scale can be reduced, and simultaneously, the adjustment of the control system can be facilitated.
