Summary:PURPOSE:To perform a precise machining of a spherically-recessed face roughly worked by means of a compact device by rotationally moving the machining portion of a holder tip with a face transverse to a work rotating face by a transmitting wire to slide its tip, while being moved circularly, in contact with a face to be machined. CONSTITUTION:The machining portion 24 of the tip of a holder 23 is fixed with adjustment of positional relationship and inserted into a hole 5C1 to rotate a work W. At the same time, the machining portion 24 is rotationally moved by a manual operation or a driving source such as a motor in an arrow direction via a gear mechanism 26, a drive shaft 21 and a transmitting wire 25 to machine the internal face of the hole 5C1. A machining element 29 slides a diamond chip etc. in contact with a face to be machined with drawing a circular locus to machine accurately a spherically-recessed face, while the rotational radius of the diamond chip etc. is determined by a distance between the tip of a chip etc. and the center of a rotary shaft 28 and varied by the rotational movement of an eccentric cam 27, and its maximum is equal to the eccentric extent of the eccentric cam 27 and is adjustable within the range of its twice.
