Summary: | PURPOSE:To quicken the response, to make output voltage stable and to make the circuit to an external disturbance such as an EMI noise by counting a clock number of a clock signal generated during the ON period of an input pulse and converting the measurement into a voltage. CONSTITUTION:When an input pulse S0 rises, a counter 2 is cleared by a signal S1, and a clock number of a clock signal S3 from a VCO(voltage controlled oscillator) 7 is counted from zero. A latch circuit 8 holds a count d0 of the counter 2 at the leading edge as an output d4. The output d4 is a digital value proportional to the duty ratio of the input pulse S0 and the output d4 is DA- converted by a DA converter 9 to obtain a voltage d4' proportional to the duty ratio of the input pulse S0. Thus, a conversion voltage almost synchronously with the period of the input pulse S0 is obtained and then the response is improved. |
