Summary:PURPOSE:To constitute the titled monitor apparatus so as to generate an alarm when it becomes impossible that a radar image signal is accurately stored in main memory, by a method wherein it is detected whether a writing finish signal is present or not in each cycle of an azimuth signal and, when it is absent, a writing unfinished signal is generated. CONSTITUTION:The output of a transmission counter 32 is supplied to a writing finish detecting circuit 51 and, when final transmission output is counted, a writing finish signal is generated. This writing finish signal and the azimuth signal of an input terminal 16 are supplied to a writing unfinishedness detecting circuit 52 and, when the writing finish signal is absent in each cycle in the azimuth signal, a writing unfinished signal is outputted and supplied to and counted by a counter 58 when the counted value reaches a predetermined number, the counter 58 generates an alarm signal to a terminal 59.
